Celeb Style for LESS

Think celebrity style is out of your reach?  Think again!  Here are a few looks I've turned from high end designer to affordale for everyone:

Evan Rachel Wood in a Preen Line dress.  The dress alone retails at $695.  I've put together a similar look here, all for less than half of what the Preen dress costs!

Get Kate Moss's double denim look she wore to the Mulberry s/s12 show.  I've put together a similar look here, all for under $350.  Shirt, pants, boots, purse and hat, what a steal!

Blake Lively in a Gucci resort 2012 and Brian Atwood pumps at a Sprinkles cupcake event in NYC.  I've put together a similar look here, with a couple extra options, totalling under $230 for entire outfit.  Compare that to the $595 price tag of Blake's Brian Atwood Maniac pumps!

Nicole Richie in a 60's style Louis Vuitton dress and YSL Tribute pumps, attending the Louis Vuitton s/s12 show.  Get a similar look here.  I found a similar dress for only $35!

What I Wore Today

I am missing LA like crazy while I'm stuck in cold, snowy Minnesota for a while.  Oh, how I'd love to be in sunny southern CA right now.  Since today was a casual day of running errands and going to meetings, I decided to make myself feel at home and dress in my comfy, LA grunge style.

Les Envers

I recently came across this lovely handbag line based out of Italy.  Super cute, quality leather bags for everyday!

Owner Sara Turatello, studied fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan.  After graduating, she went to work for Giorgio Armani and other large fashion houses where she learned everything from product development, design and production to the final packaging.

I particularly love the S/S12 collection!  All bags are made of high quality leather, some with fabric that has been stained using a special technique to give it the effect of hand painted enamel.  Also, all of the interior lining in this collection is painted entirely by hand.

Follow Les Envers on Facebook to stay up to date with the line!  The company website is written in Italian, but don't hesitate to e-mail Sara with questions or regarding ordering!

Fun Fact For The Day

Marc Jacobs & Kate Moss at Louis Vuitton S/S12

Here's my interesting fact for the day....

Before sending his models out at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2012 show, Mr. Marc Jacobs GLUED his models into their pointy toe, mule shoes with wig glue!

Best and Worst Dressed at the Golden Globes

Here are my best and worst selections from this years' Golden Globes.

Emma Stone in a purple/fuschia chiffon Lanvin gown. A simple, yet edgy gown.  The hair and make up complete the sexy, sophisticated look.  My absolute favorite, she looks stunning!

Sarah Hyland in nude lace, vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Charlize Theron in Dior.  No suprise there as she is a brand ambassador for the fashion power house.  But, she knocked it out of the park in the this pale pink gown.
Elle MacPherson in Zac Posen.  Yes, I know, very bridal... but she does look flawless.

And now, let the train wreck begin....
Jessica Biel, in Elie Saab, showed up minus her reported engagement ring and fiancee, but looked like she chose her grandmothers wedding dress.

The usually on trend Kelly Osbourne, in a cobalt blue extremely unflattering Zac Posen gown, looks like a mermaid blow up doll.  And the blue hair to match... trying WAY too hard... she looks like a smurf.

Kyle Richards in Oday Shakar.  The whole look is just quite trashy looking.

Madonna in Reem Acra.  The top half of the dress isn't terrible, but the bottom half looks like an explosion.  And, yes, Madonna you are in shape, but really next time think about wearing long sleeves, you will look much for feminine.

Both mother and daughter missed the mark at this event.  Sharon Osbourne showed up in a Naeem Khan gown that looked as if it was made of her mothers curtains.

Another miss for designer Naeem Khan.  Although I do love the color combination of the purple dress and green earrings, Julianna Magulies didn't quite hit the mark with this look.

Lorraine Ashbourne... YIKES... need I say more?

What are you're favorite or most hated looks from the night?
